Carol, Survakari, Kukeri…
After Carol and Survakari, the Kukeri take the Inizativa to chase the bad spirits with their rattles and to bode fertility and luck. This is our land. From 01 January, until the end of March in the different corners of our country are played traditional Mummer games. The traditional Surva in Pernik is held in the third week of January. The 29th International Festival of the Masquerade games this year was planned for 24-26.01.2020 https://www.surva.org/. The municipality reported that because of the dire situation with the water, this year "Surva" will not be there!
